About Me

Hi, I’m Jana. I just turned 64, and for 25 years, I’ve walked the fibromyalgia path myself. I know the fatigue that seeps into your bones, the unpredictable and often unrelenting pain, and the quiet grief of not having the energy to live the life you imagine. I know what it’s like to wake up already tired, to make plans with hesitation, and to wonder whether this is how life will always feel. I also know the deep frustration of searching for answers—trying one approach after another—wondering if anything will ever really help.

I understand chronic pain not as a concept, but as a daily reality. I know how hard this journey can be—physically, emotionally, mentally, relationally, and spiritually. And, I also know that meaningful improvement is possible — not through quick fixes or rigid rules, but through compassionate, science-informed practices that honor where you are and support where you want to go.

As a nationally certified master-level health coach with a background in holistic health and wellness, I refused to accept that suffering was the best that fibromyalgia had to offer. I committed to learning—deeply and carefully—about the role that nutrition, movement, nervous system regulation, supplementation, and mind-body and spiritual practices play in fibromyalgia. Over time, and through a great deal of trial, error, and patience, I discovered strategies that truly began to make a difference in how I felt in my body. I started feeling better—a lot better.

What I’ve learned is that how we nourish and move our bodies matters. Small, consistent, thoughtful choices add up. I am living proof of the difference these holistic practices can make, and I am going to share with you what I’ve learned, honoring where you are and supporting where you want to go, so you can discover what works best for your body, your rhythms, and your life.

Everything I share through FibroSoul is grounded in the latest research and informed by my lived experience. This is not about perfection or pushing through pain—it’s about learning to work with your body so you can best support it. You deserve to feel better than you do right now, and you don’t have to figure it out alone.
