FibroSoul Guided Support Sessions FAQs

  • A FibroSoul support session is a supportive, science-informed conversation designed to help you better understand your body and discover practical ways to feel better.

We begin by talking about your unique experience with fibromyalgia, your symptoms, triggers, challenges, and what you’ve already tried. From there, we bring in the latest research on fibromyalgia, especially around the nervous system, sleep, nutrition, movement, stress regulation, and your specific health condition, translating that science into simple strategies that can work in your everyday life.

Each session is personalized and gentle. You’ll leave with a few realistic practices or adjustments to experiment with—never an overwhelming list of things to “fix.” My goal is to help you calm your nervous system, support your body’s healing capacity, and reconnect with a sense of hope and agency.

FibroSoul support sessions are also shaped by 25 years of lived experience with fibromyalgia, so you’re speaking with someone who truly understands the complexity of the condition, not just from research, but from life.

Many people leave a session feeling heard, validated, and equipped with new insights and practical next steps to navigate fibromyalgia with greater ease.

  • FibroSoul offers a complimentary 30-minute introductory guided support session so we can get to know each other and explore whether it feels like a good fit for you.

After that, sessions are offered at a per session fee or as a package for discounted savings, depending on your goals and needs. Because fibromyalgia is complex and each person’s experience is different, coaching is designed to be flexible and personalized rather than a one-size-fits-all program.

After your complimentary session, we can discuss pricing and availability. For more information, reach out directly via the contact form.

  • Yes. I am living proof of this.

While fibromyalgia is often considered a chronic condition, a growing body of research shows that symptoms can improve, sometimes significantly, when the underlying drivers of fibromyalgia are addressed. Scientists increasingly understand fibromyalgia as a condition involving nervous system dysregulation and altered pain processing, sometimes called central sensitization. When the nervous system is supported through changes in areas such as sleep, nutrition, stress regulation, movement, and overall lifestyle, many people experience meaningful reductions in pain, fatigue, and symptom flares.

Just as important, improvement is something I have experienced personally. After living with fibromyalgia for more than 25 years, I have seen firsthand how symptoms can change over time. By applying the science—especially around nutrition, nervous system regulation, sleep, and holistic self-care—my own symptoms have improved significantly. I still respect my body’s limits, but my daily life looks very different from when my symptoms were at their worst.

FibroSoul coaching is built on both current research and lived experience. The goal is not perfection or a quick cure, but to help you discover the strategies that allow your body to calm, stabilize, and move toward greater resilience and well-being over time.

  • People with fibromyalgia may already know things like:

    • Eat anti-inflammatory foods

    • Calm the nervous system

    • Improve sleep

    • Move gently

    • Reduce stress

But fibromyalgia makes implementation extremely hard because of:

    • fatigue

    • brain fog

    • overwhelm

    • discouragement

    • inconsistent symptoms

    • isolation

So the real problem isn't a lack of information.

    The real problem is:
“How do I actually live this way when I feel this bad?”

    FibroSoul offers:

Science + lived experience + compassionate guidance.

FibroSoul exists because you need more than information. You need someone who understands the journey and walks beside you as you navigate it.

A fibromyalgia support coach helps you better understand your condition and develop practical strategies to improve daily life with chronic pain and fatigue. Guided support sessions focus on areas shown by research to influence fibromyalgia symptoms, including nervous system regulation, sleep quality, nutrition, movement, pacing, and stress management.

During the sessions, we look at your unique symptom patterns, triggers, and daily routines, then identify small, realistic adjustments that may help your body feel more supported and stable. Rather than overwhelming you with information, coaching helps translate the science of fibromyalgia into clear, manageable steps you can experiment with in your own life.

For many people, this format is helpful because it provides dedicated time to talk through challenges, learn what is happening in the body, and develop a personalized approach to symptom management. Over time, this can lead to greater confidence, fewer flares, improved energy, and a stronger sense of control over your health.

  • Absolutely.! I am living proof of this, but it takes time and consistency. The changes I have made to my lifestyle based on the science have improved my fibromyalgia symptoms so much. That’s why FibroSoul exists. I want to share what I have learned (based on science) and support you along the way so you can live and feel better with fibromyalgia.

Research increasingly shows that fibromyalgia is influenced by factors such as sleep quality, nervous system regulation, stress, physical activity, and nutrition. While lifestyle changes are not a cure, they can play a meaningful role in improving symptoms and reducing flare frequency.

Coaching helps translate the science into practical, personalized strategies that are realistic to implement.

  • Yes. Especially if you want to try something new to start feeling better. Yes, if you want science-backed support plus the knowledge of someone who has lived with fibromyalgia for more than 25 years.

FibroSoul support sessions are priced to be affordable. We offer a free, introductory 30-minute session.

Many people with fibromyalgia feel overwhelmed by conflicting advice or unsupported in traditional medical visits. Guided support sessions provide dedicated time to understand your symptoms, identify triggers, and develop a personalized approach to managing fibromyalgia.

Clients often report that coaching helps them feel more informed, more supported, and more confident and skillful in managing their condition.

  • Recent research increasingly shows that fibromyalgia is primarily a condition involving changes in how the brain and nervous system process pain. Scientists often refer to this as central sensitization or nociplastic pain, meaning the nervous system becomes overly sensitive and amplifies pain signals even when there is no obvious tissue injury.

Studies using brain imaging have found that people with fibromyalgia often show increased activity in pain-processing areas of the brain, along with reduced activity in the brain’s natural pain-inhibition systems. Researchers have also identified changes involving the autonomic nervous system, sleep regulation, immune signaling, and gut health, all of which may contribute to symptoms such as widespread pain, fatigue, brain fog, and sensitivity to stress.

The encouraging news is that research also shows fibromyalgia symptoms can improve when the nervous system is supported. Strategies that may help include improving sleep quality, regulating stress, supporting healthy movement, improving nutrition, and calming the nervous system through restorative practices. Because fibromyalgia is complex, most experts now recommend a holistic, multi-system approach rather than relying on a single treatment.

FibroSoul is built around translating this evolving science into practical, compassionate strategies people can use in everyday life.
